The greater question is whether or not it will be resolved peacefully. Brines has hit the nail on the head in presenting the views and definitions of the two combatants.
His dictionary of Progressive and Conservative terms is a very handy addition to the book and further enhances the dichotomy of the two belief systems. The frustration of the opposing cultures and the war of words which has been a part of the debate over the past three decades as government regulations and programs grow more rapidly than the economy can support them is not being settled between Republicans and Democrats, because both sides of the aisle actually lean toward the progressive point of view. It is actually a war against conservatives and other non-progressives hence: powerful evildoers or blind victims who are simply unable to find a point of reason between them.
Enlightening, concise and a brilliant evaluation of the cultural war that is plaguing the nation and the world in the twenty-first century. Kindle Book Giveaway!
